| We provide training from beginners, aged 18 and over, right through to instructor level qualifications. As we are a branch of the Scottish Sub Aqua Club (www.ssac.com) we follow their training plan and the certifications are recognised worldwide.
Members are required to join Scottish Sub Aqua Club (£46pa plus £18 joining fee), this provides you and us with third party insurance, along with training materials and a diving log book.
Training through Ayr branch is provided free, by qualified instructors on a voluntary basis, every Wednesday in the Citadel diving pool, 8pm-9.30pm.
As a branch all members contribute a levy,which goes to the upkeep of club equipment, air compressor and boat (which is moored at Largs marina) The training levy is £65 for the full pool training programme, all equipment and air included - or alternatively, you can choose to pay by standing order £16.70 per month ongoing.
